This study examined the relationship between working environment (working hours, work-related activities and computer work station) and musculoskeletal manifestations of female clerical personnel of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU)-Valenzuela campus. There were 35(females) purposively sampled participants for this study who were clerical personnel from the different offices such as Registrar, Accounting,Guidance, Library, HRD and Dean's offices of OLFU- Valenzuela campus. Survey method was used where a research-made questionnaire was administered to assess the working environment and musculoskeletal manifestations of the clerical personnel. It was hypothesized that there is no significant relationship between the working environment (working hours, work-related activities and computer work station) and their musculoskeletal manifestations.

It was found out using the Chi-square formula that among the three variables of working environment, one of them, work-related activities(22.61, 7.815) is significantly related to musculoskeletal manifestations. This means that work-related activities are positively related to having musculoskeletal manifestations of the female clerical personnel. On the other hand, working hours (5.12, 15.51) and computer work station (12.4, 31.41) showed no significant relationship to musculoskeletal manifestations. This implied that relationship between working hours and computer work station to having musculoskeletal manifestations of the respondents are trivial or negligible in this study.
