Simulation gaming resulted to better Cardio-Pulmonary resuscitation attitude among nursing students in the Philippines.

This study explored the possible benefits of integrating simulation gaming as a teaching strategy and pedagogy in nursing education. It involved fifteen (45) purposively selected nursing students from a nursing school in the Philippines. They were grouped into three (3) namely the traditional lecture group, the simulation group and the combination of lecture and simulation group. Test of significant difference was employed comparing the post-test and pre-test between and among the experimental and control groups. The study resulted to the combination of lecture and simulation as the most effective means of teaching since it had a positive effect on the knowledge, skills and attitude of the selected participants.
